I keep changing my mind about what to use to publish my website. I have finally decided on WordPress. It took a lot of struggling on my part, because when you have had to learn something as an adult, it is a very different world than if you grew up with it. WordPress was a lot more technical than the drag and drop alternative offered. But the drag and drop publisher proved totally inadequate for blogging. It did have archives or a bunch of other things that you need to run a decent blog. It was more suited to a business website where it does beautifully (I set my sister’s nursery business up on the site and it functions great).

Anyway, here goes. Please forgive the idiot mistakes or the terrifically insulting phrasing. I even bought a grammar checker that screens the worst of that out. Please cut me some slack. I will get better. I promise!

Welcome to my new and (I sincerely hope) and improved WordPress site. I am still hosted on FatCow because they are the absolute best I have ever seen at resolving hosting problems quickly and completely within 24 hours, 36 hours at the absolute worst case!

WordPress seems to work better than my other site building and blogging site. I have heard so many good things, I hope that between the book I bought and the “Help” section I can make it work. We shall see.

Now to peruse the daily headlines and see what really gets my goat. Then I will have to upgrade the site from Disney rated to Quentin Tarantino .
